Feral Cat Spay/Neuter

The number of feral cats in the U.S. is estimated to be in the tens of millions. CAC is dedicated to providing extremely low-cost spay/neuter services to feral cats in Kootenai County and the surrounding area.

  • Feral cat spay/neuter is $30.


  • By appointment only on Tuesdays and Thursdays.


  • Call 208.772.4019 to schedule appointment.


  • Spay/neuter cost includes a Rabies vaccination.


  • All cats altered under this program will have their ear-tipped. This is NOT optional! (Ear-tip is a universal indicator that a feral cat has been altered.)


  • Individuals can reserve up to two appointments.


  • Rescue groups can reserve up to four appointments.

Important Information!

Check-in time is 8:45-9:00 am. Do not arrive earlier than 8:45 am. Allow 30 minutes for check-in.


Payment will be made at check-in. 


Pick-up time is 5:30 pm on the same day of surgery. All ferals must be picked-up by end of day.


Only ONE cat per trap or hard plastic carrier. All traps and/or carriers must be secure! Cats in cardboard boxes WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!

Live Animal Trap Rental


Call 208.772.4019 to reserve a trap.

Rental cost is $75, refundable deposit. 

Traps are available for a 10-day rental period.


If trap is returned damaged, dirty, or not in working condition your deposit will not be refunded.
